Super Star Rajinikanth paid a surprise visit to the Gopalapuram
residence of DMK chief and Ex CM Karunanidhi this morning. The actor
caught up with the veteran politician for about half an hour between
10.30 and 11 am and Karunanidhi’s son and politician Stalin was also
present during the meeting. Though the finer details of the meeting are
not yet out, the surprise visit has raised many eye brows. The actor has
not been very active in the social circuit after his illness and rarely
does he venture out.
However, Rajini has said that the meeting was purely to pay respects to the veteran and wish him for his birthday which was celebrated on June 3.
